Antique Oil Painting of a Portrait of King Henry VIII c1870 19th Century .
This genuine antique 19th century victorian oil painting on canvas is fairly well painted in our opinion and is a fairly good portrait of the Tudor King of England Henry VIII. This large and impressive genuine antique 19th century oil painting portrait of king Henry VIII of England has a Latin Inscription to the top left hand corner of the canvas , which we have taken a photo image of for you to see. It appears to translate roughly as King Henry VIII the English and part Ruler of France . This large genuine antique 19th century oil painting portrait of king henry VIII is in fairly good condition and appears to be in its original wood and gesso rococo style frame . The antique 19th century canvas has had some old repairs with one being to the king henry the 8ths left hand as well as some other fairly minor repairs , which is to be expected with a antique painting of this age c1870.
